Oh Brave New World
In the last couple of weeks, something remarkable has happened to me. Out of the clear blue, I got an email from a guy who was a close friend and playmate when we were both very, very young--we're talking single digits here. He found me through this blog (my email address is up on the right) and this is one of the many nice things which have happened to me since I started blogging. We're getting caught up on each other (we connected briefly in college) but there is nearly 40 years of catching up to do.
Has this happened to you? How did it go?

I had an e-mail from someone who was reading my blog -- I couldn't place the name but recognized the context in which we knew each other. Then she attached a picture and said, "Oh yeah.." that her name had previously been (Male Name). Would have never recognized from the picture. But I had performed her wedding when she was a man...Interesting times.
