Deferred Maintenance
I've got to spend this weekend taking care of tasks in my home, auto and life which have been deferred too long: the car needs work as does the car and I have significant decisions to make about finding medical and other insurances for myself as well as shoring up some of my other business contacts. The guest posters are invited to fill in as they can but I won't be around so much.
The experience of being seriously ill last month without any medical insurance made a real strong impression on me and that is the first thing which needs to be fixed.
Comments
I had to go to the ER on a Saturday two weeks ago for a urinary tract infection. (BTW I have a whole new sympathy for women now.)
I's still waiting for the bill to come. I expect it will be at least $500.
My insurace coverage now consisists of the fervent hope that whatever I get will be quick and fatal. Unfortunately, this was just drawn out and painful.
I guess I'll just put it on the bankruptcy whenever I get around to filing it.
