This is just to let you know that I haven't abandoned the blog but that I have been very ill--as it not able to get out of bed ill_- for much of the last month. I'm recovereing slowly now but it will still be a few days before I can resume blogging at my usual level of activity. I lost a beloved cat in the middle of all of the this so the last month has been pretty awful. And I have trip to the Department of Motor Vehicles in my immediate feature. Let's just say that this mid-week leaves a lot to be desired, shall we?

Be well, Melanie. As a companion to more than a small number of cats, I'm really sorry you lost yours. They're strange little guys who don't live near long enough. If it were up to me they'd outlast us and laugh about it.
It will be good to see you back again.
