Vacation Days

Hope you and your cat recover. Summer colds are always the worst.
Since your cat is sick as well the following extraction from one of Nimans recent posts may be of interest.
"The human sequences in Indonesia have a number of mammalian polymorphisms that are frequently found in isolates from humans, swine, dogs, and horses. In addition, a cat isolate, A/feline/Indonesia/CDC1/2006, matches the majority of the human isolates in all eight gene segments. A couple of the M polymorphisms are lusted below with isolates that share the polymorphism.
The presence of these polymorphism in mammalian isolates and the absence in Indonesian avian isolates, raises serious concerns about the origin of the H5N1 infections in Indonesia."
Probably no need to rush out and get Tamiflu, it may be too late in any event :)

Thanks so much, everyone. I've got a wretched stomach bug and we all know how much fun that is.

Just an observation; I notice in your posts that you have a stomach bug about every 10-14 days or so that knocks you out for a day or so (go back and check your posts on this and the old site)....
I think that what you have is some chronic or undiagnosed condition and not a "bug"...might I suggest that you have yourself checked out?

Tom,
I've thought of that but I have no insurance.
